ESBE LTC

3-way thermostatic valve (groups) ESBE LTC 361 and 381, CRA111/121

3-way thermostatic valves (groups) ESBE LTC 361 and 381 are intended for installation in central heating systems with solid fuel boilers (Bio-Tec-L /-C, BioTec-Plus, EKO-CK P, EKO-CKB P, CentroPlus, -/B) and storage tanks CAS, all for the purpose of protecting boilers from condensation of water vapor from flue gases. ESBE LTC 361 and 381 make it possible to quickly reach and then maintain the operating temperature of the boiler by changing the opening ratio of the return line from the central heating installation and the short-circuit line with the boiler, keeping the return line of the boiler always above 60°C. They have a built-in circulation pump, thermostatic valve (60°C), stop valves and thermometers.

ESBE CRA 111/121 is a motorized actuator with a regulator for maintaining a constant return temperature (set to 60°C), intended for installation on 3-way mixing valves from DN50 to DN150. They are intended for installation with boilers of higher power, from 71-580 kW.

Product characteristics

  • Application in heating systems: installed in heating systems with solid fuel, pellet or wood chip boilers, with CAS accumulation tanks.

  • Boiler condensation protection: maintaining the temperature in the boiler at a minimum of 60 °C (ESBE LTC 361, 381 / CRA 111/121 set to 60 °C) protects the boiler from condensation of water vapor from the flue gases.

  • Function at low temperatures: at a boiler temperature below 60 °C, the circulation pump returns water from the flow line to the return line via a short circuit through the group or valve.

  • Components of the LTC 361 and 381 groups: the LTC 361 and 381 groups include a built-in circulation pump, three shut-off valves and two control thermometers - one on each line.

  • Setting and installation of CRA 111/121: CRA 111/121 motor drives must be set to 60 °C. They are installed on three-way mixing valves, with the mandatory installation of a circulation pump of the appropriate size.

  • Specifications for CRA 111: CRA 111 is intended for three-way mixing valves up to DN50. It is supplied with a transformer (230 V) and a temperature sensor.

  • Specifications for CRA 121: CRA 121 is intended for three-way mixing valves from DN65 to DN150. It is supplied with a detachable controller with display, transformer (230 V) and a temperature sensor.
