Cm-SOL
The solar controller Cm-SOL is intended for regulating the heating of a DHW tank, an accumulation tank (with or without a built-in DHW tank) or a swimming pool via solar collectors and/or boilers and/or electric heaters. The controller can control the heating of up to 4 different tanks/swimming pools that can be heated via up to 2 separate solar collector fields for hot water and up to 2 types of conventional sources (boilers) or an electric heater. The collector pumps can be controlled with a PWM or analog signal. In addition to a temperature sensor, a flow meter and a pressure switch can be connected to the controller.
Product characteristics
- The solar controller Cm-SOL can control solar heating of up to 4 separate tanks with 1 or 2 collector fields and heating of the first tank using conventional sources (electric heater or up to two boilers).
- The controller has 10 inputs, 8 outputs and 2 PWM and 2 analog outputs for collector pumps.
- The type of solar collectors can be selected between plate and vacuum solar collectors.
- The types of tanks can be selected between: DHW tank, accumulation tank with built-in DHW tank and swimming pool.
- The hydraulic connection of multiple tanks can be selected via a pump, a 3-way zone valve and a 2-way zone valve.
- It is possible to control the pump for heating the first tank with the following (heating the DHW tank with the accumulation tank).
- The first tank can be heated using an el. heater (via contactor) and up to 2 conventional heat sources.
- The controller can control the recirculation pump with pulse operation in a given time schedule.
- By entering the correct flow through the solar collectors and installing a solar collector return sensor, the controller calculates the total energy obtained from the solar collectors. If a flow meter is installed, the energy calculation will be more accurate.

- In addition to the above, the controller also has protective functions: solar collector cooling function (via tank), tank cooling function (via solar collector or recirculation), disinfection function (legionella protection) and pump/valve blocking protection function.
- The controller can be used to set the priority of solar heating for a tank, enable a tank heating priority test, enable/disable a specific tank from heating, enable one-time heating with a conventional source, enable the “party” option for a one-time heating extension and enable the vacation option, which automatically turns on all protection functions to prevent overheating/freezing of the collector.
- To monitor the operation of the solar system via a mobile phone or computer, it is possible to install the Cm WiFi-box and monitor individual temperatures and the operation of individual pumps and valves via the web portal. It is possible to change the set temperatures of the tank and solar collector via the web portal.
